The mail could not be sent

    Hi all,

    i am sending the mail but it is not sending the following error came like........................

    how to slove the problem

    The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 16 (2009-07-27T14:01:34). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 208.67.219.132:25). )

    What version of sql server are you using? what method are you using to send e-mails from sql server???

    test connectivity...

    telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 25
