HI...
WHEN i USE WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION FOR DATABASE MIRRORING iT GIVES ME ERROR MSG
"Cannot connect to MSSQL\MSSQL08.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Failed to connect to server MSSQL\MSSQL08. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)
------------------------------
Login failed for user 'MSSQL\Guest'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)"
PLZ HELP.

check the error log on the server you are trying to connect to, this will have a more detailed message and will give you the reason the login failed.

When I see the errorlog,the error msg was
" Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 11.2009-03-19 17:59:50.29
Logon Login failed for user 'MSSQL\Guest'.
Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors. [CLIENT: 192.168.1.7]"
plz help to solve the issue....
