Error Creating Maintenance Plan on SQL 2005 Cluster

  • I have a x64 bit 2005 cluster and when I try to create a maintenance plan I get the following error: "Invalid column name 'from_msx'" "Invalid column name 'has_targets'". SSIS is installed and both nodes are on SP3. Thanks for any responses.

  • Check if the SP3 has been applied successfully or not? You also need to apply the recent patch(CU1).

Check this link this might help you.

  • I ran into this issue on my cluster also ... have a read ..

It is an issue with the MSI installer and how the Cluster works in 64x bit edition ... mine was Windows 2008 though.. Have a read maybe it will be of help to you.

The problem was the resource database was not being updated by the patch... Thanks.
