Can not deploy project in Business Intelligence 2005

    Guys hi,

    i am new to sql server 2005 itelligence studio. I have created and build a cube. However when i try to deploy it, i get the error "The project can not be deployed to the 127.0.0.1 because the connection can not be made. Ensure that the server is running.. etc etc.

    Why is that? What am i doing wrong?

    Did you set the server in the project properties? Is it the correct Analysis Services instance? Can you connect to the AS instance through management studio?

    The error is just indicating that visual studio cannot connect to the specified analysis services server.

    Thank you very much! The analysis services was the problem.
