Adding a roll to give select only to all tables

  Newbie Question:

  We have an 900+ table database and I was wondering if there was a script that would add a role (name of my choosing) that would only give select access to every single table in the database? I really don't want to use my mouse and click that many times in the properties window.

  Add the user to the db_datareader role.
