Excel Destination causes blank rows to be written in the excel file?

  • I am using an excel destination where in I am writing data from a table and then I ftp the file. The excel file that gets created has a couple blank rows added in the beginning. That is the data gets written to the file from the 3rd row onwards. I would appreciate if you can please let me know how to correct this?

Any inputs will be much appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Manisha

  • Try to clear all cells from this worksheet before writing to it. May be it has any older external data source in this area.

  • change the logic while exporting data into excel.

  • I am using a blank sheet each time and I am using excel destination so there is no logic involved.

    Thanks.
