SQL Agent Scheduled Jobs and Windows Event Log

    Hello,

      I have a few scheduled jobs (SQL Server Agent) and they are all set to write any failures to the windows application log. But they write the log even when they succeed. These are straight forward SQL jobs. I am confused. Any ideas?

    Silly me. It was the package 'logging' properties. I had 'Write completion status to eventlog' option selected and looking all over the place. Sorry for wasting people's time. Thanks anyways.
